Note 1 : Negative Marking – 0.33% for each wrong answer (except Decision Making and Problem Solving)
Note 2: Questions relating to Marathi and English Language Comprehension skill of Class X/XII level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper II) will be tested through passages from Marathi and English language without providing cross translation thereof in the question paper.
Note 3 : The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type.
Note 4 : It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in both the Papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination for the purpose of evaluation. Therefore a candidate will be disqualified in case he / she does not appear in both the papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination.

Basic Info About MPSC Rajyaseva Exam

Educational Qualifications: Any Graduation or those appearing in final year of graduation can also appear.
Age : Minimum age 19 years, the maximum age 33 years. Maximum age relaxable OBC candidates (Max. 35yrs.) and SC/ST/NT candidates (Max. 38yrs)
Attempts at the exam: No Limit

After you are registered, you can apply for any MPSC exam through your online account at the above website.
Stages of MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) Exam:
Prelims: Objective Type Paper – General Studies  – 200 marks (0.25 negative marking) – 2 Hours duration
NOTE: Only after successfully clearing of the Prelims exam, you can apply for Main exam otherwise you have to reappear in Prelims in the next year.
Main Exam:
Long Answer type papers:
  1. English paper – 100 Marks
  2. Marathi paper – 100 marks
Objective Type Questions:
  1. General Studies paper I- 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
  2. General Studies paper II – 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
  3. General Studies paper III – 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
  4. General Studies paper IV- 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
There are NO optional subject for Main exam.
Negative Marking for GS papers – For 2 wrong answers 1 mark will be cut.
Passing Marks:
45% in each of the 6 papers for Open Category
40% in each of the 6 papers for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBCs, etc)
Interview: 100 marks
Total: 900 Marks

पेपर २ – सामान्य ज्ञान, बुद्धिमापन व विषयाचे ज्ञान:

2013 – मुलाखत नाही !!!
मुख्य परीक्षेत अमागास उमेदवाराकिरता लेखी परीक्षेमध्ये किमान 35% गुण, तर मागास उमेदवाराकरता किमान  30% गुण प्राप्त होणे आवश्यक राहील. तसेच, अपंग, माजी सैनिक  व गुणवत्ता धारक पात्र खेळाडूंकरता लेखी परीक्षेमध्ये किमान 20% गुणप्राप्त होणे आवश्यक राहील. तथापि, उमेदवारास वरीलपैकी कोणतीही एकच सवलत मिळेल.

एस.टी.आय. परीक्षेचा फायनल रिझल्ट लागल्यानंतर प्रत्येक उमेदवाराने खालीलप्रमाणे काळजी घ्यावी:
  • सर्वात आधी आपले कागज पत्रे तयार ठेवावीत. त्यासाठी MPSC च्या वेब साईट वर “सर्व साधारण सूचना” वाचाव्यात.
  • जवळच्या पोलीस स्टेशनला चौकशी करावी कि तुमचे वेरीफिकेषण आले आहे का आणि त्याची पूर्तता करावी.
  • जोइनिन्ग लेटर आले कि लगेच माझगाव च्या ऑफिस ला किंवा त्या पत्रात दिलेल्या ऑफिसला ठराविक तारखेला जॉईन व्हावे.
  • जे शासकीय सेवेत अगोदरपासून आहेत त्यांना जर  पे प्रोटेक्शन, सर्विस प्रोटेक्शन हवे असेल तर त्यांनी तसा अर्ज करावा किंवा नियम प्रमाणे जी प्रोसिजर आहे त्याप्रमाणे करावे नाहीतर मग राजीनामा देवून एस.टी.आय. जावीन करावे पण असे केल्यास त्यांना  पे प्रोटेक्शन, सर्विस प्रोटेक्शन मिळणार नाही हे लक्षात असू द्यावे.
ट्रेनिंग:
  • एक तर माझगाव ला ट्रेनिंग होईल १५ दिवस किंवा तुम्हाला मिळालेल्या ऑफिस मध्येच ट्रेनिंग सुरु होईल.
  • कालावधी – १५ दिवस ते पुढे २ वर्षे पण असू शकतो.
पगार:
  • ह्या अवधीत सर्वांना सारखाच पगार मिळेल मग प्रोबेशन संपल्यावर जे अगोदर शासकीय सेवेत होते त्यांना नियमाप्रमाणे पे प्रोटेक्शन, सर्विस प्रोटेक्शन मिळते.

Here are details of the physical test for PSI Exam:
Total Marks: 100
You need to score minimum 50 marks out of 100 then only you will be called for Interview else no.
Total 4 events: For Men
1) Running : 50 Marks
  • 800 meters (to be covered in 2 min 30 seconds) – 50 Marks
  • 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 30 seconds – 2 min 40 seconds) – 44 Marks
  • 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 40 seconds – 2 min 50 seconds) – 35 Marks
  • 800 meters (if covered in 3 min 20 seconds – 3 min 30 seconds) – 12 Marks
  • 800 meters (if covered in more than 3 min 30 seconds) – 00 Marks
2) 8 Pull Ups: 20 Marks (2.5 marks per pull up, i.e. 8 x 2.5 =20 marks)
3) Long Jump : 15 Marks (4.5 meters)
  • if the jump is less than 2.5 meters then 0 marks
4) Shot Put (गोळा फेक  weight- 7kg 260 gms) : 15 Marks
  • Need to throw beyond 7.5 meters: 15 Marks
  • If thrown less than 5 meters: 0 Marks
Total 3 events: For Women
1) Running : 40 Marks
  • 200 meters
2) Walking: 40 Marks
  • 3 Kms
3) Shot Put (गोळा फेक  weight- 4kg) : 20 Marks

MPSC PSI (Class II – Non-Gazetted post)
  • Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34,800 (Grade Pay Rs.4300/-) + Allowances. Total Rs. 21,752/-
Eligibility:
  • Indian Citizen
  • Age Limit: As on 1st Sep – Min 19 yrs, Max 28 yrs (+ 3 yrs for reserved categories. +5 yrs for Sports person. Since it is Class II – non-gazetted posts, no reservation in Seats for Ex-Servicemen. But age relaxation is applicable as specified for them. +5 yrs for Short Service Commission officers)
Academic Qualification:
  • A graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Marathi language compulsory
  • Final year candidates are eligible to apply but their result should have been declared before the last date of form submission for Main exam.
  • Internship (where applicable) must have been completed before the last date of form submission for Main exam.
Physical Requirements:
  • Men : Height – 165cms (without shoes/chappals), Chest – 79cms (84cms expanded). Expansion 5 cms
  • Women: Height – 157cms (without shoes/chappals)
Handicapped candidates are NOT eligible.
Exam Fee: Rs. 260/- (For reserved categories – Rs. 135/-) – to be paid in SBI using Bank Challan that must be printed after filling up the online application at : http://www.mpsconline.gov.in
 Transaction ID: After payment of Fees in SBI, update the Transaction ID on the above website, then only your application submission process will be treated as COMPLETE.

Age Bar: The upper age limit for GEN caste is thirty three (33) years as cut off from 01st Feb, 2016.

Academic Qualification Records: Candidates should have Higher Secondary School Certificate with certificate Course in Data Entry Operator and Equivalent. Please refer official notification as disclosed below for detailed qualification details.
